Q: What makes Pixel-Free LED better than standard LED strip for architecture?

Standard LED strip lights have visible individual diodes — you see a series of bright dots with darker spaces between them. Pixel-Free LED diffuses each emitter at the source, so the light source itself is continuous. There are no visible dots even when viewed directly or behind thin diffusion. For architectural applications this means a clean, professional result without needing thick diffusion channels.

Q: What control systems is Ellumiglow architectural LED compatible with?

Our architectural LED products are compatible with standard 0-10V dimming, TRIAC/phase-cut dimmers, and DMX512 with the appropriate driver. We carry Lutron-compatible drivers and Wavelux Zigbee LED drivers that work natively with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings.

Q: Do you offer custom-cut lengths for architectural projects?

Yes — all our Pixel-Free LED and standard LED strip products can be ordered in custom cut-to-length quantities. For projects with multiple runs of different lengths, we cut and terminate each run individually so there is no field splicing required.

Q: What CRI and color temperature options are available?

Our architectural Pixel-Free LED products are available in CRI 90+ and CRI 95+ grades. Color temperature options include 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, and 6000K. For hospitality and high-end residential, we recommend CRI 95+ at 2700K or 3000K.

Q: Is there a minimum order for architectural projects?

There is no minimum order. We ship directly to job sites, staging areas, or design studios. For larger projects we offer volume pricing and can provide a formal specification package for submittal purposes. We respond to project inquiries within 1 business day.

Our architectural Pixel-Free LED products are available in CRI 90+ and CRI 95+ grades. Color temperature options include 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 4000K (neutral white), and 6000K (cool white/daylight).

For hospitality, retail, and high-end residential applications, we recommend CRI 95+ at 2700K or 3000K — this produces the warmest, most flattering light while maintaining accurate color rendering for artwork, merchandise, and finishes. For commercial or task lighting applications, 4000K CRI 90+ is more typical.

Is there a minimum order for architectural projects? ▾

There is no minimum order. Architects and designers can purchase single runs for prototyping or mock-up work without committing to project quantities. We ship directly to job sites, staging areas, or design studios.
