Quick Reference
Controller, Driver, Dimmer, Receiver: What's What
Driver / Power Supply
Converts wall power (AC) into the DC voltage your LED strip needs (typically 12V or 24V). Sometimes called a transformer. Required for every installation.
Controller / Remote
The handheld or app-based device you use to change colors, brightness, patterns, and scenes. Sends a wireless signal (RF, Bluetooth, WiFi, or Zigbee) to a receiver.
Receiver / Dimmer
Sits between the driver and the LED strip. Receives the control signal and translates it into the PWM dimming or color output the strip needs. Some dimmers are standalone (inline, touch).
DMX Decoder
Converts a DMX512 lighting protocol signal into PWM output for LED strips. Used in professional stage, event, and architectural lighting where LEDs are controlled from a DMX console or software.
What You'll Find in This Collection

This collection covers every controller, dimmer, and receiver we stock for LED strip lights. Products are organized by signal type: single-color dimmers for brightness control, RGB/RGBW controllers for color mixing, pixel controllers for addressable effects, and smart home options for Zigbee and voice control.

All controllers here are tested and paired with the LED strips we sell. If you are unsure which controller matches your strip, check the product page for your LED strip first, or use the quick decision guide below. For DMX integration, stage lighting, or multi-zone commercial installs, see our professional-grade decoders and receivers.
