The Pixel-Controlled version allows for each pixel to be controlled independently, creating beautiful gradients and sweeping color possibilities. Pair with a simple Bluetooth Controller to have numerous patterns and color options from any smart device. For larger, complex installations, hook up to any number of SPI or DMX control systems to create entire light shows, perfect for stage performances or night clubs. 

This tube light has a soft-touch silicone housing which is flexible, yet durable. The minimum bending radius of 4.7" (120mm), and has full color mixing capabilities. Our newest product is fully cuttable at any length, so you can trim this product to length. Make sure to get an end cap if cutting to seal any cut edges. We also offer custom lengths (up to 5m) available from our factory, which typically has a 4-8 week lead time. Need to create longer lengths than 5m? You can join ends together with a clear tube and pixel-map the lengths. Each section is 11.11mm with 2 LEDs per section. Current LED protocol is a WS2815 (RGB).

Let's get nerdy: The fast WS2815 protocol is used on this strip for a number of reasons. First, when comparing to WS2812(B), those chipsets run natively on 5V. When making longer linear runs like this, the voltage drop is excessive. When using the WS2815 protocol, it allows us to run the strip at 12V, allowing longer runs without voltage loss. In terms of data continuity, each LED contains dual-signal wiring, so even if one LED fails entirely, the rest of the strip will continue to operate normally. This is especially important on larger scale applications where reliability matters. The chips use an ~800kpbs data rate, and ~1.25μs/bit length for a speedy data transfer even when talking large applications.
