Our Ice profile of specialty Laser Wire® Cabling pairs up with a blue laser module, and the unique phosphor coating on the laser wire cabling allows the color to emit in a cool white (around 5000K) bright cool white color.

The OpalDrive Wearable Module includes a rechargeable lithium ion battery which stays powered for up to 4 hours on a single charge. With 3 modes, blink, fade and constant on, the OpalDrive Wearable Laser Module is an all-in-one solution for event, trade shows, retail applications, costuming, consumer products and much more! This module can also be recharged with a micro-USB device, like Power Bank type battery for even longer lasting charge. We typically recommend the OpalDrive for small runtime applications. 

The Capsule Module is a perfect module if you are looking to plug in your Laser Wire® to a 5V source, like wall outlet, laptop, car, or a portable power bank battery. This type of module will run in constant ON mode when it is hooked up to power. It is lightweight, compact and easy to use. This module has more heat sinking than the OpalDrive so we find that if using in Retail or Trade Show Displays, or for long periods of continuous use, the Capsule Module is a great fit. The biggest difference between the OpalDrive and the Capsule Module is that the Capsule module doesn't have an internal battery. Capsule Modules are externally controlled via PWM, and can be hooked up to LED DMX Decoders for easy external dimming.  For a simple inline solution try pairing this up with our USB Touch Dimmer for easy on/off and dimming. If you are looking to plug the Capsule Module into a wall (AC Adapter), you can use this 20W USB AC Adapter.

We offer two different versions of our Capsule module. The standard is a 20mW brightness which looks great in darker settings, but can get washed out by ambient room lights. The higher powered 70mW module allows a great look in most environments, including trade shows and retail.
