DualDrive Multicolored 2M SUPER POP Laser Wire® System

The 2M DualDrive Multicolored SUPER POP Laser Wire® System allows for creative freedom and choice in a multitude of color combinations. Our Laser Wire® Modules come in Blue, Red and Green, allowing for mixing of these colors in any way you like! The DualDrive Kit with our Super Pop Laser Wire® Cabling profile means that the laser wire you receive is ready to go with a connection on each end of the wire, and a smooth, visible color transition from one color to another. This is ideal in applications that will benefit from color gradients from one color to the next, or simply a longer, brighter cable using the same color modules. Attach and detach the modules from each end to switch up the appearance of any project or display easily without any special tools. With EL Wire you were previously locked into one color of illuminated wire. With Laser Wire® Technology, the options are endless (not to mention about 10x brighter), switch from Red to Purple, and then shift to Blue with ease. This innovative line of DualDrive Laser Wire™ Systems, delivers the most versatility in comparison to any other similar form of accent lighting. A Laser Wire® System gives creative control to you, delivering a user-friendly, plug and play solution straight to the customer.

When comparing this kit to the 1M DualDrive Kit, this kit is not only double the length of cable, but the gradient of color is much more defined when using two different colors. In this kit, the color on each end is predominantly the color of the laser module, but the middle section provides a beautiful wash of color. If the maximum gradient effect is what you are looking for, this kit is for you.  

Dual Drive Laser Wire® Kits let you choose your favorite color combinations as well. With this versatility, you are able to get a violet light output by combining our Red and Blue Opal Drives. Easily detach and remove one laser module from the end and you also have the option to change the appearance of your application to put out solely Red or Blue light, or even beautiful Teal gradients by combining Blue and Green modules, or stunning Yellow/Green gradients when combining Red and Green modules. This is something never seen before, and a highly desirable effect in the lighting world. Laser Wire® technology will leave you in awe each time you turn it on. 

The OpalDrive Wearable Module includes a rechargeable lithium ion battery which stays powered for up to 6 hours on a single charge (blinking/red). With 3 modes, blink, fade and constant on, the OpalDrive Wearable Laser Module is an all-in-one solution for event, trade shows, retail applications, costuming, consumer products and much more! This module can also be recharged with a micro-USB device, like Power Bank type battery for even longer lasting charge. 

Estimated Battery Runtime For OpalDrives varies depending on the color. Each color draws a different amount of power. On a Full Battery Charge, the time you can expect it to illuminate before needing to be recharged is as follows:
Blue - 2-4 hours
Green - 2-4 hours
Red - 3-6 hours

The Capsule Module (below) is a perfect module if you are looking to plug in your Laser Wire® to a 5V source, like AC Adapter Wall outlet, laptop, car USB (or even directly to the battery with a 12-5V Step Down Converter), or a portable power bank battery to bring your Laser Wire® kit on the go like in a wearable. This type of module will run in constant ON mode when it is hooked up to power.

This module has more heat sinking than the OpalDrive so we find that if using in Retail or Trade Show Displays, or for long periods of continuous use, the Capsule Module is a great fit. The biggest difference between the OpalDrive and the Capsule Module is that the Capsule module doesn't have an internal battery. Both Laser Modules will be the same color and brightness. Capsule Modules are externally controlled via PWM, and can be hooked up to LED DMX Decoders, Laser Wire Remote Dimmer, or microprocessors (like Arduino, Raspberry Pi's, etc.) for easy external dimming.
